Gary welcomed members to the meeting.

Cook Trailer - Gary asked the members for their input regarding the purchase of a cook trailer. He stated that Roberta feels we could get enough donations to pay for the trailer which is approximately $20,000. Discussion was held regarding insurance, tires, a/c, generators to operate it, etc. Concern was expressed about who will man the trailer and what the purpose would be. The purpose would be for “fundraising activities” such as Mullet festival, Destin Seafood festival, etc to generate income for the non-profit side of the team. A vote was taken and it was about 50/50. More research will be done into thie and re-presented to the team at a later date.

Fingerprinting - Karla explained the upcoming Fingerprinting/Security process on April 27-28. Appointments must be made for the fingerprinting, but we are also going to have immunizations, ICS training, etc that weekend to assist all members in becoming NDMS compliant. Additionally Karla explained how each member will receive an email from “PCS” and not to delete it as it’s the remainder of the security process.
